I forgot to bring a watch on a trip to Vegas so I stopped in the Rolex store at the forum shops. there were 5 salespeople behind a guard ( I had to be buzzed in), I said I needed a sub or a Daytona. They said “excellent choice, but we only have them on display as a exhibition, we don’t have any for sale” It didn’t take me 15 seconds to leave the store. I’m at a loss to understand why they would have 5 salespeople with no watches to sell. Does anyone know if that shop is only for displaying models but not selling any?
That Casablanca looks awesome! I don’t know about your watches, but my FM is such an easy watch to wear.
Yeah…I noticed that not long after I posted the picture, but too late to edit. I had just set the time and took a quick photo.
It wouldn't have mattered- the only way you're going to "walk in" and buy a Rolex sport/professional watch (Submariner/GMT etc) is to buy pre-owned- Rolex did roll out an "official" CPO program but not sure how many authorized dealers have adopted it.
Fully agree- you can wait or you can pay- I waited 7 years for my Daytona- a year for my Batman GMT and am currently a year in for my Sub Sprite- it's a process- I miss the days of walking in and buying a black dial Sub on the spot
ode to VTChris, I love this Laco. For a $250 value watch hard to beat the mechanics, looks, and history of the company. Image Unavailable, Please Login
