they apparently sell 1 million matches a year, but I don’t know how because I agree nothing is for sale except maybe Day dates

My son got the call for this watch on Friday. I saw it in person yesterday. Stunningly beautiful. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It is interesting reading some of the posts here. It is hard for me to switch around on a regular basis. I wore my Datejust for 35 years, and got an Explorer in December. I love the Explorer, have pretty much worn it nonstop since then. I wore the Datejust the last few days, and it was hard to get used to again. Now back to the Explorer... to each their own, I guess.
I never wear the same watch 2 days in a row, unless I'm traveling. Even then I might switch from day to night....
I've got a fairly eclectic collection ... so end up swapping out watches usually every day. If I'm traveling I usually have at least 2 - maybe 3 watches with me. have to be careful if no safe in the room etc..

So I designed the watch and my builder in HK produces it. I use a Miyota movement. Ideally, you use it not so much by the watch hands but by the graphs on the right side. the railroad track on the outer rim for minutes, then the various inside tracks for Different courses - Saute, Steam, Roast, and Braise. cut off for 15 min - saute / pan roast steam, and veg the rest for longer cooking times. I'm working on one with a stopwatch function but it's a bit harder to get the dial architecture the way I want it. when cooking from 6 -12 you use the opposite side of the minute hand to reference shorter periods. if you are an experienced Professional cook - this helps you keep various longer-term items going at the same time. you would not use this for the saute station as you would usually only saute for 5- 8 min at high heat - but then finish in a hot oven. the tracks let you assign different things to a different timeline. if you want to get technical you can use a colored grease pen to make a mark where you started an item. it gives you a reference point. OR you could use an Apple watch and use a timer, but mine is way better looking - and you dont have to worry about touching the watch ...
The more I wear this the more I appreciate it. I believe Odyessus should stand the test of time to be classic. I agree with the watch reviewers in this case. Image Unavailable, Please Login

So there is a great remake of the 1968 movie The Thomas Crown Affair with Pierce Brosnan, which came out in 1999. Faye Dunaway who starred in the original had a cameo role as Thomas Crown’s psychiatrist in the remake. Anyway I digress, in the opening scene, the camera zooms in from space, to Manhattan, through the roof of the Bentley Arnage and to a closeup of the fabric of his suit. He then slides back his jacket sleeve to reveal his watch, which is a JLC reverso. However there is no logo on the watch, doesn’t anyone know why? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe the movie was made during era when Pierce was playing 007. I'm guessing he had some sort of deal with Omega that prohibited him being shown with anything besides an Omega....so they blacked out the brand for the movie. Thomas Crown wouldn't wear an Omega with a suit
