I'm looking at buying this set of wheels for my 360, But the seller does not know much about them. They are 19/20 and I will be powder coating the centers black.

Sorry thats the only pic I have, I did some more searching on the internet and I think they are Avus 901's. How do you guys think they will look with black centers on a red 360 spider?

I personally say stick with factory Ferrari wheels. Throw 430 wheels on if you want... but I wouldn't do aftermarket... at least if you are driving the car hard. If it is for show on the street, aftermarket okay, but for me, if you drive over 100mph, I stick with factory.

I dont drive over 100 mph very often, Never track the car. I just want something nicer than the starfish wheels. I can get a great deal on these wheels that's why I was thinking of them. I'm not a huge fan of black wheels but I think these will look ok.

Since you're asking, I vote no. You don't seem too thrilled with them yourself but a potentially good deal is swaying your feelings.

    Just MHO of course.

    +1 on the 430 wheels.

Change the wheels if you like but stay with 19"s and staggered wheels might look good, but they will throw the balance off on the car and change the way it handles to the point that even a novice driver will notice.

You are 100% correct, I'm not thrilled but I also am not looking to spend 10k on wheels.

Let’s say you pay 2k for those wheels. It is good price because it is for a Ferrari? No, you just are throwing away 2k instead spending 5k on great wheels. You can choose between factory wheels or aftermarket wheels. You can buy a set of HRE P47 monoblocks at vivid for a good price and those are sick wheels or at eBay you can buy CS wheels and F430 for less than 4k.
My advice is that is better spend a little more in something you will really like and appreciate and not spend 2k in something ugly that you bought because you thought it was a good price.

    My 2 cents.

I agree, The only 430 wheels I like are the Ball polished. I usualy don't like to put newer factory wheels on an older car (looks like i'm trying to make it look like a 430) but the 430 wheels are really nice. I'll continue my search.

you will get alot of negative comments about aftermarket wheels on f chat. because if they don't say ferrari on them they must be junk! right?

i say do it if you like the look.

Wrong, most aftermarket wheels tend to look gaudy. What works on an Escalade doesn't necessarily translate to a Ferrari.

Nothing wrong with a proper aftermarket wheel..

In all honesty, those are not the right style for your Ferr. Belong on an SUV.. you will get looks, but the wrong kind of looks.. :)

That looks like Hanley Ramirez's car (at least he has the same wheels) I'll ask him when I see him on the 15th.
