Throwing this out to those that know, my understanding is that officially they are a standard 2.7 that were sealed at the factory to prevent tampering in the challenge series and unofficially their software is a fair bit better than the standard road cars.

Have a pair in front of me, seals never been broken, so the opportunity could arise for someone to find out the truth.

What would these be worth to the right person? must be quite rare to find an untampered pair now.

If they are in 100% working order maybe $1200 for the pair if the numbers are matching.
ECUs don't like to sit long in strange places

Ok cheers, yes seal numbers are matching. Thought they would be worth more, as a single normal 2.7 ecu sells for $1000 here in the UK.

If anyone is interested they are available for £1500 the pair, delivery worldwide. Also Challenge oil cooler set up ( tank, cooler and oil lines) is also available for £1000 plus delivery.
