Serendipity, luck, fate, timing, an omen ...

While on the way to a car show this weekend my 7y/o son wanted to stop at friendly's for breakfast. I made a left from the dedicated left turn lane after being stopped for a couple of minutes at a red left turn arrow. We parked, and while entering the restaurant ...CRACK ... an older guy rear-ended the car in the same left turn lane we had just left ( one maybe two light changes after I turned). No injuries, and the car that was rear ended was a SUV with a hitch so no real damage but if it was my 360... One could only imagine...

Close call, and a good reminder: Never, ever, EVER wait for red lights. Way too dangerous.

A perfect opportunity for your son to be able to eat wherever and whenever he wants:

"Dad, let's stop and eat at...."

"Son, we really don't have time."

"But Dad, remember that one time...."

    "Order quickly, son."
