This is my first thread hear but I was curious on what everyone here would have done if they had of won the $54.3 million dollar 6/49 jackpot. Some of the obvious things would be a big house, trips, cars, clothing etc., but this is a auto chatroom specificaly ferrari chat, so "what if you won", which auto or autos would you buy, listing details from make, specific model, colour, custom colour, accessories and so on. Even though this is pure fantasy try to be realistic.

No exotic, that's for sure. I just pay off the house/debt(s). I would honestly leave the FCar/exotic buying til later, as earning the car with my own money would be far, FAR better than getting it from free money. To me, that huge sense of achievement is definetley worth the wait and hardship and I'd feel much more accomplished were it bought from my own cash.

The $54million you putz !!! Not your own cash !!

Back to the thread you highjacker !!

The following 10% or 5.5million will be allocated as follows.

    1st...to italy and a real F1 M.Schui ferrari....about 1.5M

2nd..to italy and try to get in the FXX program about 1.5M

3rd..try and get a red/blk superamerica (daily driver) 5oo,000 grand

4th.look for and find the 250 sw about 1m,since the 250gto is worth over10m

5th..new f430 cs when it comes out 350,000

6th...and finally the f40 fro about another 500,000.

This is about 5m worth give or take....any left over in that 5.5 million I will use for customized floor mats in the f430 and the superamerica.

Talk about a collection...a little old, a little new...and a little never available.

If I'd won 54 mill USD - I'd probably never get the chance to spend one dime, cause I would have died :D:D:D On The Spot!!!

How is it in America BTW if you win this kind of amount of bucks???
Do you have to pay tax??? if yes, how many % of the 54 mill will be gone??

In the U.S they pay tax on the winnings, in Canada the winnings are tax free.

We tax the earners from 30,000 to 150,000 a year as a family income or single at a rate of 45%....then everything they buy gets 15% on top between GST and PST, and no deductions. Simple plan really. How can you go wrong when the masses pay 60%-70% of there income to some type of tax.
