Well, in my case, I would buff it out of course! I'll let the pictures do the talking. This is of Mike550's 550. Starts clean, gets better, and gets finished for beauty shots. I did the usual to it. This one has tan interior with black Daytona inserts and tan shelf with Novitec's. I love redheads. As always, Sunny makes it shine! Mike - the car looks all the part! The wheels are HOT and DL set you right on the rest! --Dan
Ok Sunny. I'll buy the ticket, you pack your stuff, load the buffer in a bag and head east. Four Seasons or Best Western, you pick. You get to go home after you have accomplished the following: 1. Taught me how to get rid of friggin' swirl marks as well as you do. 2. Made my little red car look as nice as mike550's. 2a. Maybe even made the M3 look new again. 3. Ingested a couple of fine meals at local eateries. 4. Hung out in the 100+ degree 100% humidity that we're having. 5. Met several of the Mid- Atlantic region's finest F-chatters. So, what flight would you like to take? Do you have a preferred airline???? DM
Dave - You get him to Philly, and I'll bring him southbound to North Carolina. Our humidity is only 103%. There are a ton of Ferraris down here that need Sunny's magic touch! -Daniel
Thanks guys! I can fly out after I do a job interview on Tuesday. Matt - tell me a time man! I would say right now but I need to wash the rags, someone left their laundry in the washer and dryer in order to chase tail last night... Sunny
Lets do it. Let me shuffle some laundry and I'll be ready at 2pm or so. Oh, I've got a PM.. checking now. Sunny
That is a horrible thought. I have been very greatful for Fchatters local to me to allow me do drive their beautiful Ferrari's alone and unsupervised. Henry Tran allowed me to take his 512m out many times! That's 1 of 75 Ferrari 512m's in the world! My driving skill and hightened alertness to the cars around me, have kept the Ferrari's safe, I could care less what happens to me, but like they say, it's always the "other" guy. I've always known, that; #1) It's not my car to screw around in #2) It is an exceptional privelidge to be able to drive one alone when it's not mine #) Fchat would most definetely hear what happened and I would be marked for life. The thought of the worse is tough to think about, I don't know if I could live with myself. With some saying, "it's just a car" does not get it. Ferrari is a love affair.
Gabe, you do understand that the thread title was for eye catching purposes only! I would treat cars, not just Ferrari's, that belong to someone else better than how I treat their paint finishes. I.E. with the utmost care and respect and better than my own car. Sunny
Sunny, beautiful as always. We need to bring you up to Monterey next week. I can't imagine how many bugs will be glued to my car after this drive.
Sunny- you are just on everybody's list right now as "THE" mobile detailer- take advantage of it! Make the IT stuff you're "backup" (joking, but only a little). And if they start talking to you about religion before technology in your interview on Tuesday- RUN! My advice would be to pack your bags and do a Monterey tour then hit the east coast- don't "fumble the ball"! I'm sure you can find plenty of tail at those places too. Oh- and Mike's 550 looks beautiful- you're great with red and with the wheels too. Keep up the great work! Eric
The pictures are chronological. Left side, right side after 5 minutes, then left side again, and right side from a different angle. Notice 9 through 11. Sunny
Yes, Finesse It sometimes. The Porter Cable is most effective when you're dealing with the whole finish. Every weekend is great for making cars look shiny! I'm not picky! Sunny
Thanks Matt!! We started so late and there will be more to come in time for Monterey. Don't mind the work clothes - they were the only clean shorts I had left (I'm not a big shorts guy). Sunny Image Unavailable, Please Login
