Heya Al my friend. :) Hope you are doing ok buddy. :)
I would not change that cam belt mate. I would do it every 5 years, which will be 1/2010. Drive the car more and enjoy it, it is an awesome looking 355 you have! :):)

Ferrari recommends 3 year service intervals. I think most owners will try to adhere to a 3-5 year service interval. Any longer than 5 years is risky.

I personally will adopt a 4 year service interval.

This subject has been debated here for a years. The general consensus has been 5 years or 30k miles. So on the belts you should be good for another 3 years.

As for the clutch, why are you changing it? Unless you are having problems with the holding then I would leave it be. That is unless you have had it looked at and it is under/at the minimum clearance. Other wise drive the car and enjoy it.

Now get out there and DRIVE the car. You bought it to enjoy it right? Well go enjoy driving it.

I just had my first timing belt done in 3/07 with 18k, being MY99 assembled in Nov.99 from the factory. The belts came out perfect, not a single crack. The tensioner and tensioner bearings were replaced as well. They seem to be working fine prior. The 3 yrs timing belt replacement is too extreme for me if you only put a few thousand miles on your car each year; on the other hand, if you hit 30k in 3 yrs then I would agree with the 3 yrs interval. Just my .02 pennies, but it is your engine. I don't think Ferrari chose to use cheap belts and tensioners for any their fleet to begin with, would you?
