It would be a better idea if the cars were seperated in it's own stall or something. People are people and things seem to happen. Walk away from your car for 10 minutes and this is what happened to some poor Lambo owner. People just don't respect stuff that's not theirs. Even if they know how expensive it is. The whole point of having a private secure garage is that stuff like that won't happen. It's much different than displaying the car in public. In Wes' garage nothing like that would ever happen. If it did happen, it would be on video tape.
I have the lead on the people already. These guys really are worried about someone damaging their goodies. Just trying to get a ball park on the asking... by the way...the tractor more than likely fell apart on it's own. They do that you kno.

Maybe that's why so many of the owners have to buy new parts, the ones from the factory just won't last.
If its primarily just a standard parking spot in a climate controlled, secured location with 24 hour access then 200-250 (+ cost of insurance, if necessary) would seem reasonable to me. If its a 10x12 area in the same place then 300-350 would make sense. just my $.02 I'm also assuming that this is a pre-existing structure with very little to 0 overhead, otherwise it would start at $600 a month.
I am working on a similar project in Dallas. Up here the big warehouses where you just get a space are $150-200 per month. I'm thinking more upscale, with the highest dollar spots having 4 walls and their own garage door entry. For these I'm thinking in the $300-400 range. A friend that has built a lot of storage warehouses gets $375/mo for a 15' x 35' non climate controlled spot. A lot of vendors use them as staging areas for their products. I am also thinking about the higher end spots having heat and ac if desided by the renter. There would be other buildings for the parking space type of storage, as well as some basic mini-warehouse spots on the perimeter. I have a layout and location, just haven't taken it to the prospectus stage yet.
I went to the Keels and wheels show down here in Houston last spring and there was a booth set up with a guy selling individual storage buildings in a specific complex designed for cars. It had controlled access, power, light, water, and I think restrooms also. They were in the process of building the complex. So, each unit would be individually owned and titled that way. I remember the price was around $40,000.00 I don't remember the square footages, but there were a few different sizes. I think the only draw back is you have to pay property taxes based upon the assessment of your unit. I'll see if I can dig up the literature, because I took it home with me. There is also a new car storage at Love field in Dallas. It is very expensive. Something like $100k per spot. I cant remember the name, but someone will. I guess the sky is the limit on pricing. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
