    I was disappointed when Ford went to the 302 in the Mustang but I think the last small block Cobras in the US were still powered by 289s.I heard one four barrel Holley could do the same job but , hey, let's admit it, the Webers looked sooo much more exotic. Also didja know Phil Remington's first try at a racing intake manifold for the small block had sidedraught Webers?. He fabricated a (cross ram?) DCOE setup for the the 260 cu. in.V8 in XHP-260-2, the prototype .....Don't know why Shelby didn't approve it.
