Ok... sortof an oddball questions and not sure who might even know the answer but here goes. it was either '85 '86 or '87, the F1 was in transport from Mexico to Adelaide, and whole bunch of their equipment got stollen. does anyone know about this or what year it was. reason i ask is a friend of mine used to run an engineering workshop at the F1 back then, doing specialty welding for the f1 teams, and he had to fabricate some custom lifting jacks for the ferrari team as theirs were stolen. but he cant remember what year it was and asked if i could find out for him. and as a gesture, he gave me a broken panel of a 86 Ferrari f1 car, not sure whos.... he has given me photos from in the pits and i will have to scan them as they will most likely help but thats all the info i have for now. cheers, Dave
