    The thread on Coulthard made me wonder why we didn't see his helmet cam used again this year.
    Any thoughts?

    Yeah I forgot about that! I would love to see it again (especially considering it lasted all of a quarter lap IIRC.)

    I think it was just an experimental thing they were trying during practice sessions. If I remember correctly, they were trying different locations on the helmet to mount or integrate the camera. I believe Massa also used one during 2009 preseason testing at Mugello, and Alonso or one of the Renaults used one several years ago. I don't think the FIA has approved it for use during race conditions.
