If you consider the retro cars that actually became production cars, most were turds.

There is nothing to be gained by going down that road again.

If you're desperate, you could pay tribute to that miura concept by modifying a Ford GT.

Didn't Winkelmann say the company was about moving forward, not back, and that the concept was merely a tribute to the car's 40th anniversary?

Humm, I do not see it that way.

I would like to see Lamborghini producing a limited run of SE Miura and Countach. Two iconic cars in their history.

It would be interesting to use the same engine displacement, the same overall layout, in other words, to reproduce the same car, the same package, but with todays technologies.

Lamborghini would benefit from this operation at two levels,

1- by making a tribute to these cars they make the old glory days revive and can create a renewed enthusiasm for these cars.

Ferrari and Lamborghini must cherish theirs milestone cars of the past, by doing so you perpetrate the myth and ensure future demand.

2- they prove how much they enhanced at every levels.

Of course, they do not need to do it to prove the last point, but it would be more spectacular that way, and that would be typically Lamborghini!!!

    I would do it ...

I like the CT concept. does not look like a vector. Its got the CT features. Actually the new car should look like that!
As for the Muira, it is no contest to the original by a long shot. The soul is missing . Something not right about it just like the new Ford Eleanor mustang that tries to imitate the old one.
Some designs cannot be made to new taste.

Biggest bone head decision every not making that car. Would have been a guaranteed hit. The future of Exotics is grim, the past is glorious.
