What's a "Buddy List"?

    What exactly is a "buddy list" for? Sounds a little creepy to me.

    You can add users you like (and don't like) to it. This way when they online, you can see they are. Also, you can quickly link to their profile and see what posts they have been making.

    Needless to say, its a 'fun' way of keeping an eye on trolls, no matter where they post.

    Apparently building one allows you to monitor "if they are in here"........

    I dunno.......Zupra uses it......ask the little guy.

    ....and I was honored to hear from Paul Skett that I was on "ignore" with him after joking about Stroll's P4.........:rolleyes:

    Well, conversely, the "ignore" list seems self explanatory, but what happens if you put someone on it; i.e. do their posts appear with their names and a blank body, or does the thread just skip over them? Can it be reversed to see what they said?

    I've never used ignore on the often quoted "keep your enemies closer...." idea.

    But if another poster quotes from the 'ignored' poster, it still shows, I think......
