Everyone has their favourites and so do I. I use Maguiars car shampoo to wash the 348 and Maguiars leather conditioner on the seats. The car wash shampoo works a treat and the leather conditioner also leaves the seats soft and they smell great. I use Autoglim car polish. The best polish I have ever used. Period! It was highly reccomended by an paintshop owner friend of mine. I have not looked back since. Here are some pics of my 348, un-polished. Pics were taken after a quick wash one late afternoon. I love my 348! :)

I also use Meguire's shampoo (gold class) for the exerior wash, Kiwi and Lexol for the leather interior, and Zaino's for the exterior polish. Zaino's has really helped bringout the shine ion the paint.

Zymol = shampoo, cleanser/polish , carnauba wax - it's brilliant. I used to use Meguiars before I discovered Zymol.

Meguiars just doesn't do it for me. Especially the car wash soap. Zymol Auto Wash is fantastic. Not easy to find though, and expensive.

That finish looks outstanding! Have you looked at it under fluorescent lights? I thought I had a very good finish, until the first time I saw it under fluorescent lights. I almost puked in disgust at the paint swirls I saw on my car.

Your'e not wrong there - fluoros are a great way of doing a reality check on your car's paintwork. If it looks good under fluorescent lights, it will look even better in broad daylight.

Is the Autoglim good for small scratches and swirl marks, or would you recommend Maguirs #2 polish formular for scratches??

Meguiars for in-store, local purchases. Griot's Garage for mail-order (www.griotsgarage.com). Zaino has a strong following, and rightfully so - the stuff shines, but it is not a wax. It's a polish.

I want to wash my car, dry it, wax it, and drive the bejesus out of it. It seems like Zaino is a full day application process...no thanks. I've got better stuff to do with my time then put on my "6th coat of Z16," or whatever the heck it is.

Z-2 and Z-5. 10 coats in total (at least). True that the initial application is a full day (including the clay bar step), but the finish continually gets better as opposed to wax which breaks down and needs to be reapplied to maintina a good finish. I don't know if the Meguire's wash is really great, but it smells really good.

I cant honestly tell you. My 348 hasnt got any scratches or swirl marks that I can see, so im not sure which would be better sorry. I have used Autoglim for all my cars, since 2000. Its easy to apply, dries clear so if you cant get it all out of the door jams ect.....it wont dry like the white powder like other polishes and look crap. The shine is also fantastic. Im going to wash the car later and polish it, then take the bad boy for a drive. Its been 4 days......... :)

No, I have not. :) I park my 348 at my brothers garage and it is full of fluro lights. Around 8 lights I think and the paint still looks fabulous. He has a fluro lead light there, so I may run that over the car closely and have a good look at it. :D Cheers for that.

I just looked at my car under fluro light just before and it looks the same to me. The paint is sensational! :D

Griot's products for me- inside and out. I also really like McGuire's Quick Detailer.

Leatherique's products are excellent. I have redone three seats with the dye and oil and Prestine Clean is great in between.
Zaino is by far the easiest to use and lasts the longest.
Griot's is great too but lasts maybe a month, if that. Better named Best 'AT' Show wax.
Meguires is low level department show stuff...a Ferrari deserves better.

Not sure where I bought the McGuire's Quick Detailer, but I think what I like the most about the product is the sprayer. It's really unique, I haven't seen another like it. The bottle throws down a super fine mist pattern that makes application and removal a breeze.

The Griot's sprayers (despite their cost) waste a lot of product and simply don't match up. That being said, I'm now very protective of that Red McGuire's sprayer (which is now full of Speed Shine ;-)

As an aside, I've had pretty good results with a variety of waxes. I use the paste Carnuba right now, wash with a dilute car wash soap and I follow Griot's tip of using the spray-on wax when towel drying the car.
