You have chickens at your Texas house? Now that I'm in the country, I'm thinking of doing that.

Sunny side up egg on a piece of ciabatta toast with some left over tomato and egg plant sauce. A runny egg yolk and tomato sauce are something special together.

Thats a sissy size. You must not have partied hard enough. :D

I was out till 2 last night (technically 3 because of the time change) for the second weekend in a row. I've had 3 low abv beers (4.7%) and I'm buzzing pretty good.

Hey now. Partied hard enough for my age! [emoji2] Three glasses of wine at the Rio, two glasses of champagne, one each at Caesars and Paris. Happily, my wife and I walked it all off at the Caesars Entertainment properties in Vegas, almost 13 miles in all, according to my step counter, since we hit town Friday night. Fortunately, the Bally's Sunday brunch buffet was sold out this morning, which lowered our caloric intake by roughly 8 million calories. [emoji6]

    Kale smoothie!
Steamed the kale to soften it. Let cool.
Added a little low sugar cranberry pomegranate juice. Blitz with a stick blender. Chuck in a handful of blueberries. Blitz some more. Handful of strawberries. Blitz. Pass through a sieve (used the pulp to sweeten up a batch of cookies)

I just didn't feel like doing eggs. Otherwise it would have been a complete breakfast.

Eat More Kale! Never thought of steaming kale first, @tomc. Will try that. The mention of bacon so close to the mention of kale gave me an idea. I will try crumbled bacon kale chips for my next batch of them.

Today’s.....lamb chop, hash browns with garlic and coconut shred, kiwi w/cinnamon

Hi Ron... Was hoping you'd weigh in! I have only a stick blender, not a juicer, so that's why I went with a quick steam: to soften things up, reduce the volume of the leaves by wilting them, and thus make the kale easier to blitz.

I reserved the blanching liquor for the smoothie, to maintain more of the nutrients, although I'm sure the parboiling process likely cost me some nutrients.

The pulp went into cookies, which I thought were tasty; the wife not so much! The kale stalks & ribs went into her compost pile.
