So jealous. My wife isn’t into sweets so she really doesn’t make any no matter how much I ask. Pies, cupcakes... nope. She did make those gluten free brownies, and they still sit there. Little bricks. I broke down and stopped by Krispy Kreme a couple days ago.

Got a sweet tooth. If given a choice (and a lower BMI/cholesterol level!), I'd eat them 24/7. So, I try to keep sweets out of the house. There was a special on Siggi's @ Whole foods (10/$10), and I printed out some additional coupons. Good stuff. Not too sweet...T

Yep, sweets are rare here too. Wife just picked up some of these ^ too in various flavors. The plain is too much like sour cream. I don’t like it.
I usually do the basic Wegman’s fat free yogurt. Living large.

Agreed. Their flavored skyr is tart enough. Plain is reserved for smoothies, cooking and the like. I stick with the 0% stuff for breakfast & a piece of fruit. The wife has impeccable cholesterol levels, so she can indulge in the 4%: so, I chuck one in her lunch bag, it's combo dairy food group + dessert

BTW, if you go to their website, you can print up a bunch of $1 off coupons (for 2 yogurts). Who doesn't like a bargain!

    I love Wegman’s!
There’s one in Niagara Falls NY on Military road that’s only about 45 minutes from us using nexus. Customs coming back sometimes is curios “you came all the way for groceries?” “Yep!”

Sometimes I’ll rib the kids “we had to go to a different country to get this, eat up.”

Awesome. We have family in VT and they make their own maple syrup. That’s one sweet thing my wife does like! We have a jug of it in the fridge now.

Good Lord. Fresh bagels, good looking china, the baking pan is near spotless.

LOL...well, the "china" is actually some plastic plates that came with the furnished rental we are in for the summer in Wyoming (I sold my home a few months back and am going to build something new).

Just had the last bagel a few minutes ago with my omelet...her bagels are pretty darn awesome:cool:

Trying out the new Starbucks cardusio to go with a homemade peach smoothie (fresh peach puree, plain skyr, protein powder, water).

The cardusio claims to be an espresso-heavy mocha. Tasty IMO.
Missus proclaims - The cardusio is not sweet enough!

Every time I scroll by this pic it reminds me that a simple cheese omelet is about as good as it gets.

(I've heard that great chefs sometimes audition a prospective new hire by having them make an omelet...not sure its true, but it was in a movie, so, yeah :D)
