Jacques Pepin says that! I made my wife a 20-second Julia Child French omelet once. Just once! She freaked. T
I bought this little waffle maker on amazon a few weeks ago. First time using it... Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah, baby. And, I thought I was having the least healthy breakfast in F-chat land! Image Unavailable, Please Login I did add some no-fat oatmeal granola to it! T
Need a bit more cooking to brown more? How'd they turn it? We had a waffle maker, but it'd make a loud ding when it was done, which set the dog off on a 5 minute barking scree. Adios waffle maker! T
Not a bad first try.... they’re basically the exact size as an eggo. I think 1/4 cup of batter is a tad too much for the little thing though. I purposely half cooked a few so I could reheat them in the toaster oven during the week. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gotcha. Good idea. I do (rather did) that as well. But had to get rid of the toaster oven for exactly the same reason. I like to let the waffles cool before refrigerating/freezing; helps minimize them getting soggy...T
Image Unavailable, Please Login Siggis! I found a Starbucks that sells Siggis. My two most favorite breakfast items in one place. Espresso and yogurt! T
What part of the horse? "The pheasants are beneath me." - SoCal to az "I have very few pet peeves in life . . . " - PeterS "Change is inedible" - fc2

I had to wait until I was 53 until I got my first set of fancy tongs. He's precocious! He needs his own TV show, "I.T. Boy Cooks"...T
That could definitely work. I watched “Frankie Cooks” on some public nyc tv channel this past week. He’s the closest in my age bracket to have a tv show that I’m aware of. I feel it may be easier to associate and get into if you’re with in a few years of the host. Great audience to capture in your sons case... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If the neighbors keep bringing me eggs, I'll keep making omelets...I've got 3 dozen and I'm on my own for the next few weeks...going to get creative to avoid throwing any out... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow. That's good eating for bachelor grub! This is a great way to use a lot of eggs. Breakfast casserole. Our friend makes it for her "breakfast at dinner" parties. It's great. I've made it for the wife a couple of times. https://therecipecritic.com/best-breakfast-casserole/ It keeps well, so you can have breakfast for days. I suspect that it tastes great with homemade bagels, if you know anyone with that skill! T
Short bidness trip, but I want my sweetie to miss me. So, whipped up a batch of homemade pancakes - almond flour, AP flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, egg, water, a pinch of artificial sweetener. Image Unavailable, Please Login T
Sigh...and the battle against the never-ending egg supply continues. Bacon and Cheese omelet with some cilantro mixed in and one of Ania's homemade bagels from the freezer (she left me a batch to tide me over while she is back in Poland). The omelet is a bit on the ugly side because its stuck a little bit during the "flip". Was all good though...but I'm taking a break from eggs for a few days now... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Battle egg continues... Chilaquiles today, tortilla chips, two salsas, ground chorizo, cheese, topped with sunny side up eggs (one of the yokes broke): Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love eggs and they are (currently) good for you! French toast with eggs cheese and bacon. Was just OK (store bought) but looked good enough to try, won’t get again. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Breakfast is by far my favorite meal. These last few posts will likely make it hard to fall asleep. A good brioche for french toast is Those homemade bagels on the other hand though...
^I'm not a big fan of a huge breakfast unless friends are visiting then it's French toast with stale challah bread. I like yogurt/skyr, a little granola, and lots of espresso or Turkish coffee...T
Nah...that batch was over-done...this more recent batch was better (more runny) Image Unavailable, Please Login
