Made ribs with my brother. We also made brown rice as a side. It was a tasty meal. We had commercial orchards. 99% of our orchard employee's where Mexican. A few from the same family. I'm still friendly with the family and see them when I go to central Washington State. They make awesome tamales at Christmas.

Last nights pizza sucked. Had very little sauce and was very greasy. It was Pizza Hut. Never again...………….. Tonight was cheeseburger special at Triple O's. I skipped having sides. Local paper announced my town is getting a Popeyes.

I'm excited to have a Popeyes soon. I like their chicken. Dropped my bicycle off at a shop for new tires and brakes. The bike shop is in a strip mall with a Japanese restaurant as their neighbor. Since it was 5:30pm, I couldn't resist. Got tuna and salmon sashimi and chopped scallop rolls. Not bad, but my usual place is better. they get good reviews:https://www.yelp.ca/biz/yummy-sushi-abbotsford
Just make sure to get scallops. I was on a trip to Connecticut a few years back. Just so happens there was a brand new Popeyes across the street! They were running lots of specials, so keep an eye out for those. Back home. Something simple. Chicken soup. Image Unavailable, Please Login T
T-bone!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Threw this together at the last minute. Tofu, red lentils, chard, onions, tomatoes and spicy orange simmer sauce. Has a little ways to go to reduce the liquid. Not bad for tofu. Not a t-bone though. T
My SIL and nephew are on the way back from Banff. Going to meet them at a restaurant with my parents. My SIL is Chinese. Born and raised in China. She says the restaurant makes the best Chinese food she has had in Canada. Considering she often shops and eats out in Richmond, that's high praise. Richmond population is 51% originally from mainland China. So you'd think the best would be there! This is the restaurant: https://www.yelp.com/biz/noodleman-chilliwack good reviews on Yelp.

I don't think you can do better for an inside cooked steak. Just plan wow! Image Unavailable, Please Login Mr Greasy Fingers! Every time we're up in the Lake Texoma region, we stop at the Brookshire grocery store in Pottsboro for fried chicken and jo-jos (potato wedges). We were driving the Porsche up near the Red River, so stopped in for an al fresco dinner. Wife and I shared a 5 piece dark meal and a pair of jo-jos. Lady behind the counter at Brookshire's was a peach, threw in an extra drummy, so the missus and I didn't have to fight over the last one. Dined like royalty for $8.40. T
