oh, as an appetizer before the cheesecake, we had gnocchi with a tomato + spinach + mascarpone sauce. Was also yummy.

Drank a prosecco tonight to keep the All-Italy theme going.

    Dang, AzIt, ya killing me!
After our excesses of the past few nights, the wife has decreed tonight is salad tonight.
Following the lead of our F-chat salad-meister, Max, I am refusing to take pics. It's too sad!

Tortellini? Gnocchi? Chicken and artichokes? Cassoulet?
Nice looking grub. OK, I can't go all Max & Ianjoub on this thread. Pics of the chef salad we had for dinner. Don't get too jealous!

My salads are boring and not picture worthy. Did the Kirkland pesto linguine. I also bought a Rotisserie chicken from Costco, so had some chicken with it. Forgot to get a pic...……….. I didn't have lasagna noodles. I'll brave the stores tomorrow for a box.

With all this extra time on my hands, and before we are down to canned foods and dried pasta only, I’m gonna post a few pics along the way...

At the moment, I’m sipping a Bordeaux listening to Ania play the piano, while this 2.5-inch thick, 2.2lb beast of a porterhouse rests in the kitchen...

Well most stores here are only allowing a certain number of customers inside. Didn't feel like standing in line for lasagna noodles. So I made spaghetti and meatballs...…………… Image Unavailable, Please Login

Indeed, certainly not cut from our local grocery store! This butcher only sells their porterhouse in 2.2LB size, so its gonna be thick.

She played very well last night...she played "Quarantine" from First Man particularly well last night.

Bagpipes..lol...that would be the fastest route to divorce for most couples....hmmm...

Thank you. It turned out pretty good. If I do it again, I would blanch the taters first, and brown the ground beef separately, before mixing them in with the other stuff...T
