If it's anything like my grandmother's house, they had the seafood. Otherwise, it's a big wooden spoon upside the head! T
Dang bro, that reminds me of my grandmother's backyard in Brooklyn! She'd plant basil (and maters) every summer. I was in charge of watering, fertilizing, and harvesting her garden. Of course with 8 kids, 20 grandkids and an extended family numbering in the hundreds, leftovers for next season was not in the cards. Looking good! T
Ah Mr. Anti-Fish strikes again! AzIt - more fishy goodness for your viewing pleasure! Image Unavailable, Please Login Grilled mahi tacos. Grilled also a slice of red onion, a zuke and some peppers from the garden. That red, fat pepper is a jalapeño from a plant we picked up at the local farm supply store. A bowl of ice cream later, my lips are still on fire. That must have been the one in ten bad a$$ peppers you read about. T
Oh yeah! Where have you eaten there thus far? My wife and I met there in 2012, so it’s a special place for us…we met at Marina Grande on the water and the food is pretty good there if you get a chance…
that was the tri tip and it was unreal. My brother and I have eaten a lot of good beef over the years and we both thought it among the most tender and most flavorful of any cut we have had anywhere. (I think I have one ribeye left from that cow in my freezer…)
Only this restaurant in Almalfi. We are staying in positano for three nights and took the bus in . You know those tight roads arent to friendly for a big car . Spent the day walking around and seeing the sights , then headed back to Positano. Next time I will try Marina Grande . I've been having luck with those hidden mom and pop resturants off the beaten path . Even had a great italian sub today at the market . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I had a mini seafood fest tonight. Seared up some salmon, cod, and threw a few scallops in the mix. Had a bit of Caesar salad and feasted. Was tasty.
No. My grandma was a gem! But, she didn't put up with back talk. I would not be a Ferrari-owning bon vivant without her keeping me on the straight and narrow. Yikes! I'm glad my grandma didn't have any rugs or carpets in her house! Image Unavailable, Please Login Hotter peppers getting closer to ready in the garden. Made chicken salad with smoked chicken I had in freezer. Topped it with aji limon. They're not fully ready, but still had a hot bite. Kind of like a serrano with subtle citrus and pine flavors added. Got a meat lovers from Pizza Hut delivered. Didn't feel like going out yesterday. Have my dads car and he has my truck again. I don't like driving his car.
