Raisins in stuffing plus carrots in sauce made it little too sweet. I will try fix leftovers w some of that calabrian chili paste from last week. Thanks!

Damn, you know I'm still relatively new to this thread. My wife made delicious stuffed peppers last night and I never thought to take a pic. Tom's post reminded me about the peppers.
Stuffed bell peppers are one of my wife's favorites. Brown some ground beef, add in cooked rice, mix in your favorite herbs and spices, stuff into a bell pepper with the top cut off, sprinkle over your favorite cheese. Bake until the pepper is soft and the cheese is melted. T
I like stuffed peppers. My mom used to make them when I was growing up. Haven't had them in years. Tonight................. Parents and brother are over. Football and soon the world series. Have mom making sauce for spaghetti and meatballs.............. Last two houses had no kids on Halloween. Not sure about this one. Have two boxes of assorted mini chocolate bars 120 per box and a box of assorted full size chocolate bars. 30 of the full size. The full size are for little kids and I'll give the big kids one of the mini ones. But not sure kids will show up. The right side neighbor sold the land and moved the house. So its now an empty lot. Developer owns the house on the left side and its empty. The house across the street is also empty. So not that inviting for trick or treating.

Grabbed a small corned beef last night and put it in the crockpot over night. Cut up some cabbage and added that about an hour before I was ready eat. Tasty with some mustard and horseradish!!

I'm going to make lasagna tonight with the left over sauce..................... Didn't get any kids last night. So have lots of left over candy.
Missed this last night but my son made chicken samich......with pickles, pickled jalapenos, carrot slaw and cajun aioli. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Max...I tell you what my mom told me many years ago on Halloween "Candy is not a balanced meal!" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login More tacos. Kesos in Austin. Those are carnitas on corn tortillas. The sauce is habanero. A bit messy but in a good way. T
I beg to differ. If you look on the back of a Candy that is in a large enough size, you'll find Nutrition Facts. Never seen one on any Produce. What more proof do you need? Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
I was thinking of making some smash burgers last night but have too many leftovers to eat. Had the last of the stuffed peppers and some leftover pizza yesterday (lunch/dinner). Today it's leftover corned beef and cabbage and the last of the pizza. Maybe tomorrow I'll cook something again.

Hey.....anyone got a steam oven? Thinking about a countertop model like this? https://anovaculinary.com/anova-precision-oven/?ab=true&adnet=g&gclid=Cj0KCQjww4OMBhCUARIsAILndv56dftBpZmEXogYtce1ljeBlkOj0CaJ1pfKCI7cziM-4ARDVPb0WT4aAidNEALw_wcB
Nope but after figuring out how to use a convection oven I'll never look back. What advantage does steam have other than maybe for a good crust on bread?
