What's happening here? Car won't start.

    I have an 07 430 spider with 6 speed manual transmission. Last Saturday I go to start it and I notice the emergency flasher diagnostic symbol followed by a picture of a gas pump with a slash through it on the dash indicator. Car won't start. I switch off and everything is ok.

    Later that day same thing happens only this time, emergency flasher is going even though I haven't engaged it. Car won't start. Again I switch off and allow car to reset, then all is well.

    It has happened about 5 times since last Saturday. Thoughts? Still under warranty until late Jan 11.

    I try not to diagnose cars under warranty, I just like to wait for the report and a properly running car :)

    Totally agree. Messing around with it -- even if you don't do any damage -- can void the warranty or cause the dealer to think you're the problem.

    Just get it fixed by the dealer and stop worrying. That's what the warranty is for.
