I haven't seen this issue anywhere yet in the U.S. Even the Motorsport Collector in Illinois, from which I occasionally order the magazine, doesn't have any yet.

I have been very busy so had not seen your post before.
You are absolutely right, too many GTO articles...but you missed the point, this is a GTO 64 article which is why I wanted to do it, about 95% of articles in the last thirty years have been about the 62 version.

If you look you will find only a handful of 64 articles in that time span and I was very happy with how this one turned out with new info and driver interviews. It will now come out on the cover of Enzo in France, I verified the translation recently.

I always found the 64 to be far more beautiful, an apex of 60's design, with Nembo Spyder 1, actually inspired by it, hence my fchat nickname. That afternoon behind it's wheel was just a dream day:)

Does anyone else here subscribe to Collier Automedia’s weekly newsletter, Inside Track? #173 came today announcing it would be the last. I’m sad to see it go. I hope there’s an accessible archive somewhere.

Also, Collier Automedia has transferred its photo collection, along with other artifacts, to Revs Institute.

Fingers crossed….it appears that Octane might have solved its U.S. distribution problems. I’ve now received two consecutive issues through normal distribution. Apparently, persistent nagging pays off. I hope I haven’t jinxed it.;)

Kool. Today, 15th September 2023, I received the July 2023 issue.......
They need three or even four months to ship it from UK (or do they print in China?) to Switzerland.
    A complete catastrophe.

Fortunately, very little of the content is time-sensitive. I’m happy to read articles like Marc’s @Nembo1777 even if a few months late. At least it’s arriving regularly….for now.

I just got my RR yesterday. I haven’t read it yet, of course, but my favorite issue is still the Enzo (the man, not the car) because of the article about the restaurants he frequented and his favorite dishes at each one.

By the way, I’ve received several issues of Octane through regular subscription now, so maybe their U.S. fulfillment problems have finally been resolved.

If they don’t perform contact the editor. He was very responsive in putting me in direct contact with someone in authority. For about three months they were sending me copies “manually” i.e. writing my address on an envelope and putting it in the mail. Their “customer service” is a joke, and the editor personally expressed his frustration.

No, but I’ll be glad to check. It was the one with the (rather clumsy) computer generated portrait of Ferrari.

    @trashidelek! @Juli @jm2

Is this  the embarrassed emoji? It wasn’t issue 10. I just looked and couldn’t find the article about the restaurants. I’ll search and let you know.

    EDIT: issue #6

There are actually two articles on that subject in #6. One is a feature article and the other is lagniappe in the back of the magazine with recipes!

OCTANE seem to be doing better. It took a long time and a lot of emails, but I think they are really trying to get back on their delivery schedule in USA.

Clearly not the case in Switzerland, where I live. No Octane here since months and if one arrives, it is several months old.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have had several exchanges of emails with James Elliott, editor of the journal, plus several phone calls from OCTANE staffers to see if I am receiving issues. Clearly they are trying to improve service. I suggest writing to them again, by email, and don't give up.
