what's on SCHUMACHER'S ENZO

Looks like electronic windows. The round control is for the side mirrors and the other button in the tray look like it is actually remote for the radio. Doubt he needs the money!

 

Why assume he needs the money? Perhaps he has simply had his fun. Not every collector keeps every car forever!

didn't he sell both those cars a few years back? I thought this was the collector who purchased them now selling them...

 

I could be wrong, but i don't think MS has any financial reasons to be selling.

A few Enzos have factory power windows including at least 2 US spec cars, one of which had a stereo and power windows installed when it was at the factory being certified. Schummy's Enzo also has a factory stereo, which if it's the same type that Ferrari installed in the US spec car, it sounds terrible.

 

The Key to a Stereo in a loud car is tuning the dynamic range of the system to take the environment into account. Using speakers designed to work in that environment makes a difference. Ease of control is also important as in a car that takes concentration you don't want to be distracted. We use a mini ipad to store music and designed a system that doesn't sound too bad. It also bluetooth's the phone should you want to take a call and be able to hear it.

MS sold his Enzo and FXX several years ago.

 

Dave, maybe they change hands again. Who knows..

 

The additional switch does look like a mirror adjust switch just not a Ferrari one.

The Enzo one is located on the central column (same column as Start button) and is like the type in other older Ferrari's, where you push down for left or right, and then have the direction, so not like this...

I wonder what Schumi had where the mirror adjust switch is then....

I'm sure your stereo sounds better in P4/5C and certainly in P4/5, plus it looks quiet clever. Of course a lawnmower being thrown down a hall way sounds better than the system in the Enzo I've heard. I wish you many more happy miles in P4/5 and P4/5C. A wise man once said, "there is nothing like driving a Le mans/Endurance race car on the street."

Schumacher always sold all his Ferraris after having barely touched them. The cars would be spec'ed out and finished (and tweaked) like no others for him and he would then sell them

For example: his 456 sold at about 1000 kms
Enzo: 1200 kms
MC12: 12 kms!!!
California: 1000 kms

And the list goes on....

He may not need the money (but then again who knows....) but he certainly is in love with it...

 

Ford got it right w GT putting the subwoofer right between seats like your speakers.

I had to install an iPod, amp, & speakers in the F40 for tooling around town

You're forgetting also that he became a Mercedes driver and it doesn't look good to be seen driving around in a rival manufacturers product!

 

Poor thing. Next thing you know, he'll probably sell more of his "unnecessary" cars so he can pay the rent...

Besides, a Renault Megane simply doesn't purvey an F1 image!

 

MS had two Enzos. He sold one of them (A red/brick) one few years ago along with his Black FXX. He kept the Yellow Enzo though. Seems fair enough to me.
