I currently use the autoenginuity but its ferrari capabilities are very restricted and basic.
I need advice on an OBDII reader capable of reading all Ferrari 360 parameters!

    Thanks in advance

Good advice..(definitely want to be sitting down as well) The SD3 is a beautiful tool (had mine for almost 2 years) NOT cheap!

More importantly, you need proper training to know how to use it!

The SD2/3 and ST05 (I think) are the best. However, for just standard P0 or P1 codes on the Ferrari's OBDII port, you can use a standard OBDII reader. I have never actually had to use it on my car because I have had a CEL. However, I do own this reader myself:

I have never attached it to the 360, but according to the company it will work with any fully OBDII compliant car sold in the USA. Note that some of the earlier 360's were missing a ground pin on their OBDII ports and a recall was provided to correct this. I don't know the full ramifications of not having that ground pin present, but if you search the threads on this board you should be able to find some info. I think the fix is fairly easy also for the DIY'ers in the crowd.

I got 2 SD3s today. One is headed out to Fast Cars, Ltd (Redondo Beach). The other one was Mike's playtoy today. Here, we (unsuccessfully) tried to turn off a CEL on his 350Z:
