H, I am swinging toward the Ferrari 360 Modena Spider.
I admit I love the coupe, but I'm too addicted to engine sounds,
and we all know that flat-crank v8 and unique exhaust sound
    just really.... well. feels INCREDIBLE.

The problem is that I'm not familiar with F cars and I don't have
any friends or family who are either.

Can you recommend a certain year over the others? What are
the typical problems that occur with the 360 Spider?

What are the maintenance costs? How is the aftermarket for
these cars? I have a passion for subtle "adjustment" of every
car I've owned, so do you have any recommendations for
engine parts, non-raspy exhaust systems, wheels and also,
what tires have you had the best experience with?

    Thanks for your help!

Unlike domestic auto manufacturers, Ferrari makes gradual improvements and adjustments to the cars on an as needed basis (including mid model year). More often than not, these improvements are made without public knowledge or fanfair. As a result, the rule of thumb is to buy the most current model year that your budget allows. Tim
