    Hi Everyone,

I come from the Porsche world where all my Porsche's have been PTS(Paint to Sample) so I really enjoy having unique color cars. I'm ready to cross Ferrari ownership off my list and want to find a unique color 458 to buy. From my research it seems unique colors on Ferrari's are a hit or miss where if its not resale red most won't buy it and seems like back during 458 production not many were produced in a unique color. I'd really like to find a 458 in green, purple or last resort is blue(seems like TDF blue is a bit common) but open to others as well. What would you guys recommend is the best route for me to start my hunt with? I've already got a browser open that has autotrader, cargurus and the Ferrari dealer certified website open that I've been refreshing a few times a week.

I saw a custom light blue spider on bring a trailer a couple days ago and it fetched a nice premium. Resale red is boring!
I’d look for a couple months and if you run out of patience you can always wrap a black one so the door sills and seams disappear

Talk to your local Ferrari dealer and technician
Ask what they have in the vault
What you are looking for is probably in the hands of a collector and not readily advertised
That is how I found my mint F355GTB six speed. Just sitting there.
Not PTS for sure but not an easy car to find in this market.
I swear the owner forget he even owned it when I had my Ferrari tech make him an offer.
One approach to broaden your search for rare paint jobs
    Good luck

Lots of good advice here. I'd also add that you can also search "Tailor Made Ferrari 458" to find one off or really rare colors.

Just spoke with my local Ferrari dealer, looks like they sold a 2011 Vinaccia with 9k miles for 200k last week. Wish I had called them earlier. The hunt continues, if anyone has any leads let me know!
