I'm not trying to spoil anything here but I'm sorry, I'm really disappointed with Fisichella. I need to vent. We were all complaining about Badoer but his excuse was he hadn't raced and he's a bit over the hill. So, what's Fisi's? Ok, he has not had much testing time. But, come on now... he's raced how many races and he's still a moving chicane? For a guy with his experience, I really expected better. And, he's the guy who would have killed to be in a red car? This is the best he can do for the team he always wanted to join? I'm not expecting him to beat Kimi. But, come on... you think he could at least beat the rest of the field. It's just EMBARRASSING to see a Red car so far down. He's not getting any better. In fact, he looks to be getting worse. So, what's the deal????
the deal is the car sucks(ed) and apparently Kimi and Felipe were the only ones who could or can make it perform......I read this morning of a rumor of Fisi back to Force India just a thought Carol
Fisi embarrassed himself. Fisi's supposed position of test driver next year is doomed. he has no credibility now. would anyone follow his direction on developing a car? Fisi learned a lesson... be careful what you wish for...
Well yes I tend to agree but I believe it is a real bast@rd of car to drive and get the best out of. I'am cutting him some slack.
You really think michael had a sore neck........car is difficult to drive and has had no development...lets hope the 2010 car is a big step forward.
+1 There was a year when one of Team penske drivers was allowed to do all the development of the new car. They didn't qualify at Indy! Insiders put the blame totally on the development driver, maybe he should have cut back on the ***s and booze (allegedly!). But the best team and drivers couldn't drag that dog into the race.
POS car. You don't go from pole at Spa to tail ender in a few races. Even Kimi couldn't haul it into Q3.
Crummy car + I recall hearing it's more complicated for the driver re. adjustments, KERS and so on. But I do agree with Brad to some extent. P20 is Badoer territory.
+1 Even Michael couldn't make that dog competitive. It's a shame Ferrari gave up so early, they could've at least snagged 3rd.
They stopped developing the car since when..July, August... By F1 standards, thats already in the dinosaur age. Lets hope the Scuderia can pull a Brawn over the winter and 2010. BTWs, no news on Felipe testing the F2007?
Massa and Kimi have been driving this car since pre-season testing. I don't think it's unreasonable at all for Fisi to be having a tough time coping with the car's vastly different characteristics, jumping in at the end of the season, if it's as bad/different as everyone says it is.
If the car is really that bad then it goes to show you how good Kimi really is. What he lacks in personality he makes up for in his abilities. We've now seen two separate drivers try to come to grips with the car and both have failed miserably. Understandably they haven't had Kimi's experience with the car but I would have expected them to perform somewhat better than they have.
If his dream was to drive for Ferrari... be out qualified by his teamate by nearly 10 spots... being last on the grid... I'm just not so sure if he fullfilled his dream,... or woke up in a nightnmare. I just wonder if he would have been happier dreaming the fantasy of what could have been if ever given the chance... Now he knows...
