    I've never seen a contrasting carpet rear parcel shelf like that. The car's gotta' have some issue. The mileage is a bit high, but it should have sold by now.

    but the miles and the "no" options (maybe one or 2) on it is not making it a seller.

    Has anybody ever pinged them to enquire about service history or to otherwise get more of a story on the car or what's wrong with it?

    The miles are high, and the color is not my first choice - but you could probably pick that up for $90k - $95k..

    Personally I don't mind a car with 20,000 or more miles as long as there are service records, but this car may not have them. Also everyone will tell you red/tan sells but I tend to disagree. There are quite a few red/tan 550's on the market right now and we won't even talk about 360's.

    20,000 + miles is a psychological mileage on Ferraris. A person will spend a few grand more on a car that has "only" 18,000 miles on the clock but when it gets past 20,000 it is "old". I mean let's get real we are only talking 2,000 miles but 18 sounds much better than 20 when it comes to Ferrari buyers.

    Also as mentioned by someone else, this car is lacking options big time. I'd pay $25,000 for it though, LOL. If the "buy it now" price last time was only $75,000 that sounds like a decent deal as long as it passes carfax and a pre-buy inspection.

    I am pretty sure that I posted something about this car previously. The car is clean as far as I know. I looked at purchasing it several months ago and passed because I did not want red as a daily driver.

    The dealer paid 92K for the car and is making nothing on it. According to them it has records, if so the car is a great buy. I also car faxed it, it was a 1 owner from Houston--corp lease return if I recall.

    Great deal if the records are there. The miles are meaningless at that price and certainly are reflected at a purchase price of $94K

    There seems to be a general consensus that the "bottom" for 550s is going to be 80-85K. At this point I would have to say that evidence is building that the real bottom will be somewhat lower.

    One example of an e-bay car at $90k something and one person who says they paid the previoualy un-heard of price $84K, does not a concensus make.

    I agree that two sales do not make a consensus, Ive just stated that some alarming data is starting to show. We are seeing prices near the proposed end, and there has been no loss of momentum in downward direction. Of course, neither your or my opinion matters much, the marketplace is the ultimate arbitrator of the pricing curve.

    Hey, I'm willing to pay more than 84K for the right car right now, it just has to be the right car.
