Yes, the F is clearly the best, but I disagree with the roadster and the bare carbonfiber (two tone = better. Horatio Pagani's F looks great).

Superficially, I prefer the Zonda C12-S Monza, finished like this (though I would likely opt for the F's wing):

    That "italian" post... Nonsense.:D

Simply ignore it. They're questioning on a drawing that was made 2 years ago.

why not , it is my understanding that show or display caters for out of production or historic cars that were not allowed in the U.S. during the time of their production? E.g. Mclaren F1, Maserati MC12 etc etc

Yes... I know the artist who did that rendering, and it was simply his own design study on a future Zonda. I can't wait to see what the group from Modena Design come up with for the real "sequel"...

    It was a nice try.

But the new car will have a totally different shape.
That one, even if very well done, looks too futuristic.

It looks more like a concept car to me.
I do like the engine intake.

Tridente, how much do you know of the direction being taken with the overall design? I was involved with the running of the Zonda GR in 2003 at the Sebring 12 Hours, and have an incredible passion for the thing, and hope to see a long and happy future for the marquee...

Interesting. I already saw some pics of this car.

PM me with the complete VIN number. This one should be #11 of 25. Sold by Autodrome Cannes, and often seen in the french riviera.

How to spot the VIN number: open the rear hood, then go to the right side of the car.
Near the door, on the luggage compartment, there's a small metallic plate.
    It should be ZA9C820C10SF*****.
#76057 (last 5 digits), for instance, is the ex-Caiola's car, #4 of 25.

Still waiting for your PM. Something makes me think it's like your search for a black Enzo for sale in Italy or worldwide.
And... From what i know that Zonda is not for sale.

And those infos are good for anyone who is lucky enough to see a Zonda.

Your understanding is partially incorrect. The "Show and Display" registration can apply to any car not sold in the US (in production or not has no bearing), dependant on it's approval. On a side note, the McLaren was sold and marketed here during it's production although I'm not sure if Show and Display applied.

Yeah i understand all that, thanks, but how does a car become eligable to be placed on the list, thats what im trying to get at.I remember a few years ago for instance the Mc12 was not on the list... it is now, so how does one get say a zonda (as an example) on the list? thats really what im trying to get to the bottom of.

Perhaps its just a case of a collector applying with all the relevant paperwork for a certain vehicle he wants. Then just waiting to see if the NHTSA approve it, if that is the case i wonder if one can 'grease the wheels' so to speak if you get my meaning.LOL
Also what are the NHTSA looking for to approve a vehicle anyway, if cars that didnt pass the various laws required for the U.S. couldnt get into the States at the time of their production , but can get in on the show or display list?? Hence shouldnt it follow that all cars are eligable!? HHHMMM im confused. The only part i think i get is that to get in to California under show or display you need to pass the strict emmissions laws, i guess thats why the few CLK GTRs there are in the U.S. are not in California?
