There was a silver S in NJ a couple months ago with a standard plate plate. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Stacked up at dealers? Where can I see that?? ....and which dealers would those be? I'm not questioning your sources......and I know full well that the dealers probably aren't allowed to be known to the public yet...its just exciting, that's all. I can hardly wait until they are legal. Between them and the Koenigsegg CCX coming.....the exotic car world is getting more and more exciting by the day. (Not to mention your creation, sir )
I wonder how much money you would make to import a Zonda F, convert it, then put it on eBay. I'm sure someone would pay to skip the hassle and to have a rare car in the US.
Here's four MC-12s in one place, just hanging out. http://amazingautos.net/forum2/Classic-Coach-Elizabeth-NJ >8^) ER
Funny, that car has the "Caiola Cars" emblem on it (if you look closely on the front driver's side) but that's not Benny. I think he sold that car anyway.
There are 2 on the east coast (coupe & spyder) both were owned by the same person at one time. The coupe was the 1st on in the US. Joe
He did sell the car. He still has the Spyder, I would expcet the coupe to soon wear a Hooters emblem. Joe
Ok. Benny Caiola is waiting for a Pearl White/Blue Zonda F. I got any infos you want on that car, pics included. Zonda16 can confirm this to you.
They actually had the same silver Zonda (from NJ pictured above) at the same place at the same time as the MC12s. On the day I stopped by there I there were 2 Enzos, 2 F40s, Diaoblo, Murci Roadster, and many more amazing cars to go alond with the Zonda and the 3 MC12s. One of the MC12s had Florida plates. From what I heard, the Zonda was there to pass DOT regualtion (not really sure that entails).
The only time I've seen a Pagani in person was when I was at the 2004 Paris Show for the world premire of the F430. It is a stunning car in real life. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pagani should build a US version of the car. I'm sure they could sell a lot more of them without all the hassle.
Last I heard they were going to make a few F versions legal in the states but I don't think the company wants to spend the time and money to make this a reality. It may or may not still happen, a completely new car is in the works that will be built in a new factory in order to allow the company higher production numbers and will be U.S. legal. They also plan on opening or partnering (like Bugatti) a dealership in So Cal as soon as the new car is complete. The factory believes America is the most important market for Pagani and they need to be successful here in order to guarantee future sales.
I believe they are doing the right thing by trying to expand on American market. Many other car companies have flourished, and continue to on the American market, Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, Mercedes, etc. They are thinking smart, because I plan on getting a Zonda F within 20 years .
