IMO from driving one VS the other not worth the extra $

    wider front track/flares
    wider rear
    more wheel/tire
    more hp (+15)
    shorter gears (BIG difference)
    Lightweight flywheel
    sport buckets std (I believe...)
    F&F wing

I had 07 GT3 and now '11 RS, RS is much nicer (mainly due to gears and LWFW), will always be worth more. If you are cheap, get base GT3 and enjoy.

Nice low mile 10/11 GT3 is ~$90-100k, RS is ~$125-140k

No problem...other than the "fork-in-the-insinkerator" noise with the clutch out, no issues. ECU was designed for it. again, other than the noise at idle with clutch out you wouldn't know. Shorter gears are the BIG difference.

good point about the ECU tuning. my car was clearly not designed for a LWFW from the factory

and I like that noise, reminds me of a Ducati with a dry clutch :)

I noticed the difference coming from many a manual no LWFW car and admit to stalling the car twice during my first day of ownership, but after some seat time it's not a big deal at all. I've driven my `07 RS about 5K miles since late May in the city and on the interstate and it's a very well mannered car, even in L.A. traffic but it is a little more "work"! My RS below staged at the Italian Stampede last month (After the Ferrari suffered a belt failure).
