Strictly discussing lyrics, I'd say one of the worst couple of lines is:

"If a picture paints a thousand words
Then why can't I paint you?"

WTF? Makes no sense... the rest of the song song is just as stupid. I don't know the name of the song (it was before my time), but that song cracks me up with its stupidity.

Lots of 80s songs fit the bill as "dumb" hit songs, but a lot of them hit the spot when you feel like listening to fun, mindless garbage.
