What MPG are you guys seeing in your 12?

On enthousiastic driving throughout Europe (that means a lot of time above 120 mph on the highway, and spirited driving in the Alps and Tuscany), it's averaged around 16-17 MPG.

On thing that really interested me, though, was that I was in the Dolomites with another 550 owner (also an F-chatter) a couple of weeks ago. We filled up at the same petrol station, and drove around 100 miles on demanding mountain passes. I drove more aggressively, whereas he took it a little easy (but not driving slowly). When we both filled up again, he put in 40 litres, and I put in 60 litres! 50% more fuel used, and consumption down to 7 MPG for me... That really surprised me, and I'd never gotten below 10 MPG before. Conclusion at the end of the holiday was, however, that it was all solely down to driving style. If you really push these V12's, they love a drink.

I have a 575 that I use as a daily. I average 8MPG on on my 6 mile commute. I can get around 20 on longer highway trips.

I'm getting about 8 MPG city too.

 

Two weeks ago completed a drive up US-101 from SFO to SEA. Best segment, without too much time in the twisties, 15 mpg.
