What's the maximum speed you ever drove your 348?

I wanted to take a picture of my car turning 30,000 so I had to get the needle out of the way. A private road on the way back from Monterey FCA two years ago. Steady and planted with no quirkiness.

Just did 110 for a few seconds on the way back from a test drive after a marathon work session. The fact that the car is rock stable at that speed and far more confidence inspiring than it is at 70-80 really reflects its racing heritage. With the right tires and suspension settings these cars are happiest in the triple digits.

I drive my 89 348tb fast every time I am on a clear and open highway. 4 days ago I got clipped by a sate cop at 151 on his radar. After pulling over in a safe place from passing traffic so there was no risk of the officer getting hurt getting out of his car. We do respect and back of guys in blue. and talking to the officer and explaining to him I only go fast when no one is around or in front of me and after giving him a tour of the car I walked away with a $92 ticket for failing to obey posted speed signs
Needless to say he loved my car. And was very impressed with the respect shown to him. As did I. But yes. I am always running my car between 95 and 140++ just the way Enzo made it to do. And it handles just as good at 150 as it does 75 And this story is no bull****
