Good question! I've seen this photo posted many times but never did hear the real story. Nor "the rest of the story" for that matter either.

But I seem to recall something about a flood, Katrina maybe? I'd like to know the facts as well.

The good thing was that a Pt cruiser was erradicated from the face of the earth....

Thats an old pic and the story I heard way back was wife found out he was cheating and ran the truck up over the 360.

 

I will pay someone 50 American dollars if they can get the VIN of that car - with proof!

I spoke with the owner of the Ferrari, he doesn't have it anymore, doesn't know where it went. I spoke with a few women in the Public Records office of the Fort Smith, AR PD, and they gave me some information ...but not enough. So I need to make some more calls tomorrow. Getting closer, but not quite there yet.

 

So the ford was airborne?

 

what happened to the car? off to the scrapyard, did it get dismantled, is it still on the road? salvage title or no?

That's what I'm trying to determine - I have the incident report number, the evidence number, the name of the owner, the name of the kid driving the pickup - I have everything except the VIN of the Ferrari. But the [former] owner of the Ferrari said someone from Florida called him a while back and asked him if he had the toolkit for the car - so something tells me it was fixed up and sold off. Cross your fingers, wish me luck, and let's hope for the best when I make more calls tomorrow (the people I need to call aren't in today).

 

If I can get the VIN from the guy at public records tomorrow, I'm sending you $50.

 

Bob, I got a ticket in NJ more than a decade ago that I never paid; the least I can do is send some money to NJ (but that doesn't mean it has to go to the court ).

...if you can get me into FNA where I can get ahold of some serial number lists, I'll double it.

 

Speaking of which, how much public access would one have at FNA? I've always wondered that, living 15 minutes from there.
