My hvac panel on my 355 is starting to show its age. I ordered the replacement part from ricambi but Ive read different write ups on how to install the new front fascia. The ricambi instructions are nicely detailed but the process seems difficult. Some writes ups are as simple as cutting off the old one, cleaning the face and slapping on the new fascia, any advice?

    thanks

Ryan, the OEM overlay is 3D, in mold. Aftermarket overlays are 2D. Basically, flat.

The best way to install is with the buttons and dials removed. It's not difficult but it takes some time. Some use soapy water to slide the overlay but I've not tried that.

Use rubbing alcohol to clean glue off.

To do it properly, I would make sure you do the knobs and push buttons, etc. Full restoration is your best bet, then you have no worries in the future. Let me know if we can help out, we have done well over 1000 of them.
