My Av is me in one of my karts (After being lapped by Art!).
"American Gothic": http://www.artic.edu/artaccess/AA_Modern/pages/MOD_5.shtml Basically my tribute to the farmers harvesting their crops this time of year...
Carbo - You took this pic and posted it up for me. It was on a run with the Jersey Crew. I love the red & green contrast! Thanks Carbo!!!
Well, mine is two-fold... 1) Reminds me who's boss 2) As we have old parts going across the great pond I think this flag is a symbol of our links and good relationship, both commercially and in the world ! There ya are !
Mine is actually a picture of me at the wheel of my relatively-new-to-me Maserati Biturbo Spyder. tifosi12 took the picture at an FOC drive this summer. (You don't have to actually own a Ferrari to join FOC, and I am making the most of that fact.) Unfortunately by the time it was shrunk down to avatar size, I became rather indistinct. And the Biturbo is a little nondescript, although it looks better in real life.
Uhhh, wait a minute... I'm getting a message... VWH, where did you say you lived? Kitty Fishsticks and I would love to have you for dinner sometime...
I have thousands in debt I'm working hard to pay off and it was all on a Visa Card but this thread actually reminded me that I transfered it to a card with lower rate and it's a MasterCard. So I just changed it from the Visa.
???? Souldn't avatars be good things or fun things or Kittys that send messages into one's brain? Seems looking at that logo would be a real downer.
Because I of my debt, my friends have nick named me Creditz. So that is part of it too. But sure, kitties are one thing. But it is a reminder to me everyday. When I'm sitting here not studing like I should be. I see that little reminder. When I'm looking at a picture of 9 freakin Enzos all on the same track at the same time in the same picture. I see that. It's my daily reminder that I need to work more and learn more, so I can make more. But hey people eating kitties definitely have there spot here on F-chat!
Mine used to be Nemo because the only thing that would make my 6 month old son go to sleep was his large stuffed Nemo sitting on the dresser near his bed staring at him. His almost 11 mos. now and doesn't need it so now it's the Amish guy riding a wheelie on a superbike. My wife won't allow me to have one and the Amish guy isn't supposed to ride one either, but heck, there he goes.
Due to overwhelming demand ( 1 PM from The Mad Hatter, copied below ), Kitty Fishsticks has agreed to supply all my Avatarial needs for the next month, with an option for an additional 6 months. Despite Kitty Fishsticks humble origin (stolen from a VFR Interceptor site) and the fact that her image can be googled under funny cat and the groaning resistance of some F-Chatters (Ryan Z.), she seems to have struck a cord here. Therefore, back as the Avatar I give you: Kitty Fishsticks.
