What's The Story Behind Your Avatar...?

275 is one of my favorites, the one in my avatar is the only 275 I've seen in person. It was at Symbolic Motors about 10 years ago. The car now belongs to a fellow Fchatter, Matt, in San Francisco.

 

I have yet to change mine. It is the Jaguar badge on the hood of an XK120 (or possibly an XK140 as I can't tell them apart).

Is it time for a change?

 

Mine is currently this beautiful Indian-Dutch babe actress, who is now one of the police officers in 'The Gates'

My avatar is a zebra's head that I saw in part of a modern art painting.
Apparently I was one of the few who saw the zebra in there.
The red diamond is my attempt to show where it was in the painting.

Noah (now a perma-banned user) had a good smart aleck comment about it in post #14 in that thread.

I keep it as my avatar for two reasons:
- the bright green color makes the avatar stand out
- and it doesn't look like any sane user's avatar

I'm a firefighter so I picked one that matched the best. Noah also commented about my screen name. He asked if I mashed the letters on the keyboard. Its my initials and the initials for the DC Fire Dept.

 

Ha! I had noticed it before but thought it read Beck's Light! I assumed you had some affiliation with it or lost a bet and was forced to associate with not the best of German brews.
