What's the story with Piero Ferrari

I've been wondering recently about him. He seems to keep a low profile in the world. Does not seem to be carried away with ego. His 10% stake in Ferrari puts him as secure as anyone in the world financially. I've read that he is more his mother's boy than his
father's son. That didn't seem to be the case with Dino, he was trained as an engineer
and was involved, to some extent in development and was very much being groomed
for the company. That doesn't seem to be the case with Piero. He wasn't really
'acknowledged' fully until Laura died, then he came into the spotlight.

Some views of him putting him as just bumbling and rathe inept. Others put him
as intelligent and involved in the development. At one time his daily driver was
an F40, but you don't see alot about him in the press.

I noticed that in recent years he's developed a penchant for wearing the dark glasses,
and he did inherit his father's heighth.

What is the general story on this gentleman?
