They even have the price at $7.2M on their own website: http://www.barbagallo.com.au/page.php?id=14

Sure is, about the same as the guy here in Perth paid for his Murcielago Roadster (Nevilles dream).

$720k, is what you'd pay for an F40. What would you rather have???????????

I believe that in NSW/N.T/WA, there are different laws for rego for cars like the F40. Scot might be able to tell us more. I know that a lot of people have told me that if I take the F40 to WA, I can get it registered. I personally prefer to wait another 9 years and do it in VIC. I saw the super USA thingy at the motor show and I'm not that impressed. I'm more impressed with the 430 spider. ($200k less)

At the moment the vehicle rego people here are playing hardball with the F40 locally. There is a 'Club Licence' restricted use registration category that we set up in WA some years ago for the use of limited edition/rare machines and the F40 has been stuck in the approval process for a few months. I suspect the guy in vehicle licencing who has the authority is wary about it, but I don't know for sure!

To my knowledge, you can't road register a 288/F40/F50/Enzo anywhere in Australia. If you can register an F40 in WA, I am sure the owner of the F40 there would have done so already. It runs on dealer plates, so draw your own conclusions.

    Ok.

Personally I wouldn't bother. Who wants to front the stamp duty on a $600k car when you can use a dealer plate or permit.

Thats an irrefutable argument, theres so many better alternative for that sort of money that may not even have a huge resale tear-up

Take my word for it, as soon as the turbo's come on in the F40, nothing else will matter.
