    In an effort to not destroy the tachometer on my 355 out of pure curiosity, I checked the owners manual and did a search to find out what the button in the center of the tach does (if anything). No Luck. It is the same as the trip odometer button but I don't see any purpose for it other than a red-line evidence button?

    Anyone know what it does or is it just a dummy? My luck would be to push it or twist it and screw up my tach and then send it out, etc. etc.

    Page H3 and H4 of the owners manual. By the way, if you press the "stop" button on the A/C controls, the heater won't work either. Just thought I'd let you know that too. ;=)
