    I removed a ZF 5 speed transmission from my 63 AC prototype and put in the correct ford toploader. Wondering what kind of car it came from. ZF type S5-325. sn 1542. date coded 11/09/64.

    Can you post some photos ?

    My guess, is that it came from a Porsche donor.

    I think that looking at the picture, we can safely say it is NOT from an early 1960s Porsche.
