What’s this hose for?

Image Unavailable, Please Login Getting to know my new acquisition: this small bore hose is not connected at either end. The “other end” hangs down near the air horn compressor. The P clip looks as though it should be attached to the panel. 308QV UK spec.

Located the compressor- spigot missing-there’s just the hole. So after faffing with different sized bolts to determine the hole diameter I ordered a right angled barbed joining piece. Might need a dab of mastic but it should fit! I’ll squirt a bit of light oil in in the hope a bit of lubrication will prolong life!

 

Thanks. I recall an oil point on a horn compressor from way back. I’ll take a look. Not a lot of space down there and the compressor is mounted horizontally.
