UT Models, they did a great job with the F355. I have about 7 of them. The only ones missing in my collection are the black Berlinetta & black GTS.

As far as I know, UT is now AutoArt...obviously not doing Ferrari, but their models are still very nice. Kyosho is definitely my choice for (reasonably priced) Fmodels...

Exoto and Kyosho in 1:18 scale. HotWheels for some models because nobody else makes them at the moment (Enzo, 288GTO, 250 California, etc). If Kyosho made these models there would be no contest at all. The HW 288GTO is an exception but HW won't re-release it for some reason. The new BBR/Minichamps 1:18 Enzo will be superb I'm sure but at $299US retail it's a bit very pricey.

For 1:24 and 1:43 Jouef made several beautiful Ferraris. In 1:24 scale they made quite detailed '64 250GTO and 330P4 Spyder. The 330P4 was also sold by Universal Hobbies in a competition version by the addition of racing livery decals. The "plain" 330P4 pops up on eBay regularly and usually goes for between $60 - $100US. The racing version is much rarer and usually goes in the mid $100s. The 1:24 250GTO is rarer still (I've only seen one or two in 4 years) with unpredictable prices (but easily well over $100).

In 1:43 Jouef made the '64 250GTO, '61 250GT, 330P4 and '87 GTO Evoluzione. Be careful as they have two series of these. The lower cost series come in clear plastic cases like Brumm, Bang, etc and do not have opening hoods and engines. They usually sell for $10 - $15 on eBay and come in many different versions (colours and racing liveries). The higher quality series came either in velour lined watch type cases or molded styrofoam forms like Exotos. These ones have opening hoods, trunks (where applicable) and detailed engines. They can range in price from $25US to over $100 for the 250GT, as it seems to be rarer than the others. Really beatiful cars if you can find one.

Check out Diecast Zone for reveiws of them, and other brands:
