    Laferrari for $3+ million
    P1 for $2+ million
    918 WP for $1.8 million.....

How did the prices on these HyperCars get so insane and how are they moving the product at these assanine prices?! Arbitrage opportunities can't exist for long in an economic system. Makes no sense that a person can spend $1.1mm on a 918 and then make 80% profit immediately. I'd be curious to read all of your thoughts on the matter.

Is this not just a simple case of supply and demand...

Exactly. As Enzo himself put it, you should always build one less car than the market demands. Hence 399 Enzo's, 499 LaFerrari's.

Supply and demand but only with a combo of more $ than sense. There's always been limited production vehicles but these price increases at such an accelerated rate are unprecedented.

What I don't understand is why do manufactures bother putting a cap on production of these cars. They'd sell more and kill the new flipping market at the same time. If I had the $ to buy one of the current big 3 I'd want more then anything to be able to spec it to my exact liking. And I don't buy this exclusivity argument. They are cars they are to be enjoyed. Kudos to the owners who drive them.
