PeterS is 2 looooong hours from his triple chicken chicken bowl, his WiFi and his vodka bottle so he asked me to ask the following of you: Whats worse? A deadbeat? A thief? A liar? A snitch?
They're all bad, but the people worse than all of those are the ones that think we owe them something and want money for free. I think all the people abusing their "Katrina Loans" should be denied welfare or any of that ****...because they obviously spend those checks on worthless **** too.
Sociopaths are a dime a dozen. They end up on places like this and try to take advantage of good people. Some of them even claim to have airplanes!
Only in Frank's case. If ya add f) Democrat, mebbe Art.J/K Not Bill Hart tho. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A snitch is worse than a theif (IMO), as they will not always steal from somebody they know. Ratting out somebody breaks trust.
A deadbeat is the worst because at least the other three are doing somthing. To be a good thief you must aquire skills and the same for a good liar and a snitch plays life by the seat of his pants. Edit for spelling
A deadbeat you can always count on having to cover their ass. A thief you can always count on to strike in a moment of weakness. A liar you know to never take at face value. A snitch is someone you can never trust. I can be friends or associate with deadbeats, thieves, and liars, but a snitch... no friggin way. Thats how I voted.
A deadbeat won't pay for products or services rendered. That's a thief in my book. A liar can be ignored. A snitch...? A friend has an expression: "Snitches are a dying breed." If you lead your life honestly and ethically, you won't give a snitch anything to work with against you. One other personality type to add to the list would be "Chronic Malcontent." People that seem to drink vinegar for breakfast instead of orange juice. KevFla
Pete and I had the same discussion while I was posting the poll and he was driving toward his triple chicken, chicken bowl (a discussion for another day). He originally agreed with your thinking but they differ in the sense that a thief steals something from someone without their consent and a deadbeat is willfully given something that they don't pay for.
I went for liar. I figured a thief, deadbeat or snitch can be dealt with in different ways (catch a thief, write off a deadbeat and don't deal with them again, be more discreet or don't do anything worth snitching about). But a liar can still harm you even if you learn they are a liar (can't put them away usually, they can still lie to others about you even if you've learned they've lied, if you try to out them as a liar it makes you look small or vindictive since there isn't always hard proof)
Honesty and ethics are the primary examples with a snitch, but its deeper than that. A snitch is someone that informs on another person, generally to further their own aims, because of their personal interpretation of right and wrong, and your plans need not be illegal or dishonest in order to screw them up. Ex: You're finding out your getting a divorce from someone else before your spouse. Ex2: How often is a surprise party really a surprise? Ex3: Some holes really need people to fill them.
