Vacheron Constantin. 1755. The first Swiss watch maker. I just love their skeleton watches and they have some very rare enamel pictures on demand. The new sport watch (the cheapest VC) is very nice, but 12-14 thousand US.
I like Breitling right now... A bigger watch with timeless looks... Used to like Rolex but am slowly selling them out of my collection...
My personal favorite watch is the IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar For Pisa Edition in White Gold (Limited to 25) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pasha by Cartier. Which I will hopefully buy from LB above in a month or two!!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My favorite is my everyday watch. The Rolex Yachtmaster in 18k with a white face. Not very thoughtful I know, but when I look at it, I know what time it is! BT
Great watch! I love the history along with it as well. Watches like that, the IWC Portuguese, Omega Speedmaster, etc... just carry really nice back stories with them as well.
I did as well for about 2 years in college. When I was 18 I bought a Titanium Omega Seamaster Chronograph (way too much money for me to spend at the time) then wore it till I was 20. I then sold it because the poor college student thing set in. I was watchless for a year and a half after that. Then got back into it when I started working
Which Planet Ocean do you have? I have the 45.5mm with stainless bracelet and orange bezel. I haven't worn it in probably 2 months
I really like that watch. Its so simple- its not trying to tell what cardinal direction we're facing, or whether or not the stars are lined up in our favor, etc. I'm in between watches right now and holding out for the right watch, but I'm not really much a fine watch appreciator.
stopped wearing a watch well before that. used to live in the desert and got tired of sweating around it. now I either have a pager or cell or just look for a clock.
After 14 yrs, its hard to really try anything else. Now that Im used to my Rolly everyday for soooo long, other watches just dont feel right. As for the leather band ones, I just cannot go back I feel like in bondage around my wrist. If you can get used to the bulkiness they are great watches. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cool watch.R Mille has neat stuff. My daily is a Breguet 5817, several other Breguets. I like PP, just haven't found the right 120.
I guess its a bit prettier than strapping a swiss army knife to your wrist, but it still screams to me "look at how many features I can carry on my arm!"
