I don't have it, but it looks as good as the Tamaya Enzo, and is a lot less expensive.

In my opinion, it looks much better than the Tamiya Enzo. The only small points of complaint on the F40 are the wheels, which are not chromed (as seen on the real thing), but apart from that VERY authentic. The other point is the rear grille. On my car, and all the others I have inspected, this part is not 100% properly installed.

Otherwise this is one jewel of a model! Very good quality and paintwork, all the details you would expect in 1/12 scale are there, down to even the s/n tag on top of the steering wheel colum.

Get one while you still can...

the body is metal which is a real plus. I looked at one in a model store and I passed on it because I think it was a "second" one that had a bunch of faults. The glue around the head light lense was terriable and one of the wheels did not look like it was installed correctly. When I pointed this out he said they were all like that. The car is still there after almost 3 months. I have since seen much better examples.

Have you found another one in the meantime? It´s true, as with all other models, you have to look at it very carefully. Nothing is perfect and it is a lot of money after all. I inspected 6 examples before buying mine :)

I paid 399 euros, I am too lazy at the moment to look for it in USD...
IMO very good value for money. Also notice that the model is limited to 2,500.
I also saw them for sale at a far highter price, so beware...

Reason why I'd asked is due to the fact that there is one in yellow now going for I think US$ 320.00 !

I like my Kyosho F40 very much... only wish they replicated the kevlar finish better than just brown metallic paint. Paid $250US on sale for my red one from Tower Hobby. Their normal price seems to be $299 even for the yellow.

Regarding the wheels... heres a link to an old thread of mine incase some of you missed it. I had my wheels chrome plated:

If you want to bother, you can take the model apart and use Kevlar decals. Grand Prix models in England has shhets of them.
